There’s so much great theatre transferring from Stratford’s Swan – here we are with another post on an RSC production, now touring the UK.
The Royal Shakespeare Company may not exactly be synonymous with irreverence but Thomas Middleton’s A Mad World My Master is all glamour, filth and fun! Set in fifties Soho, it tells the story of a young bachelor desperate to get his hands on his rich uncle’s fortune by any means possible.
Sean Foley’s production comes complete with new gags, jazzy musical numbers and pure entertainment. The nationwide tour is already in full-swing and reaches London on April 29th, with a limited run at the Barbican.
