One Night Only: Pink Singers at Cadogan Hall

This Saturday, 4th June, Europe’s longest-running LGBT choir bring glitz, glamour and pizazz to London’s Cadogan Hall with one fabulous night of West End, Broadway & Opera classics. One Night Only features songs from Les Misérables, Wicked, Anything Goes and Little Shop of Horrors as well as classic works by Verdi, Rossini and Sondheim.

There’s something spine-tingling about hearing nearly 90 voices performing full choral arrangements in the beautiful acoustics of Cadogan Hall, with Musical Direction by Murray Hipkin whose career with ENO has most recently seen him working with the astronomically talented Glenn Close in Sunset Boulevard.

The choir is diverse, inclusive and most importantly, full of wonderful, rich voices. You can still book tickets for One Night Only with curtain up at 7pm on Saturday 4 June – the nearest tube is Sloane Square. The show is interpreted in British Sign Language – the dynamic Pink Singers are as entertaining to see as to hear!

Broadway & West End Theatre has a deep connection with the LGBT community – so probably no surprise that it has provided inspiration for so many great shows and why the choir has chosen to base this season’s concert around so many much loved Musicals. The Pink Singers themselves have been at the heart of musical celebration since forming around a piano in Oval House for the Gay Pride March in 1983 – and have been singing together ever since!

The Pink Singers perform two main UK concerts each year as well as around the world, and can also be privately hired for weddings, civil partnerships and corporate events.

The Pink Singers’ fourth album, By Special Arrangement, showcases the performing and arranging talent that the choir has developed over its 33-year history with works by Richard Thomas, Kate Bush, Adele and many more.
