  • Could do most of these. Just not all of them- I am a musical theatre fanatic. My love for Rent led me to wanting to see La Boheme in the first place.

In the United States, the Met Opera at times in the year films their shows live and the day of brings it to the movie theatre. Then there is the Encore series and that is how I saw La Boheme. La Boheme currently is my favorite Opera. I saw La Boheme over one summer and could understand it due to Rent. I could figure out which La Boheme character became which Rent character and so on and so on and which pieces of La Boheme made it to Rent. It made me love Rent even more.
