Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel (pictured above) will star in Waitress. From 27 January 2020, Sara Bareilles will play Jenna and Gavin Creel will play Dr. Pomatter in the London production of Waitress, for a limited six-week run. The two recently played opposite each other in the Broadway production. Lucie Jones and David Hunter, the current Jenna and Dr. Pomatter, will return to the cast 9 March 2020.
Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan will return to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium. The musical returns to London 2 July 2020 for a 10-week run, with Yarrow as Joseph and Donovan as the Pharaoh. The two will reprise their roles from the show’s 2019 run. Additional casting will be announced later.

Preeya Kalidas and Bianca Del Rio join Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. BAFTA and Olivier Award nominee Preeya Kalidas will play Miss Hedge from 17 November, with Roy Haylock (Bianca Del Rio) reprising his role as Hugo/Loco Chanelle from 9 December.
Afterglow extends. S. Asher Gelman’s play is now booking until 8 December at the Waterloo East Theatre. It’s original run was scheduled through 24 November.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge will appear in an in-conversation event at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Deborah Frances-White will join her to celebrate the publication of Fleabag: The Scriptures. The event takes place 8 December 2019.
